My last post for a good while as going to be away/busy.Just scanned the thread but what does the Christ message mean.Christians who have had the born again exp describe it as a fire/spark/ignition in the heart.The Buddhist's say which i am not one this is what they feel when their heart Chakra opens.All traditions have there keys to unlock the heart.They all say it has to be selfless pursuit etc.Whether you believe he lived or not his message/way delivers the magic/spark.Peace

Okay so firstly, I have never in my life heard of anyone doubting the existence of Jesus. Atheists, Kabalastic/Talmudic Jews and Theosophians/New Agers acknowledge that He existed however they all deny that Jesus is the saviour of mankind. They do however believe and openly state that He was merely a "world teacher" just like the Budha.

Lastly, if anyone (lol) wants to ask the question "Did Jesus exist" then seriously, ask yourself the question "why is our calender based on his year of birth" i.e. Anno Domini.

I just wanted to know who the HISTORICAL Jesus was. Was he just like the New Testament of the Bible says or different? Was he the son of God? Could he perform miracles? Was he virtuous? Did he teach a new religion?

Jesus was Josephus Flavius.
Jesus was Emperor Titus Flavius.
Thomas was Damas, scribe of Apollonius.
Luke was Lucius Plutarchus.

No such thing as Jesus. Christianity ripped off the Pagan religion and just repackaged it, gave it some new names and there ya go. Christianity used many of the Pagan symbols so that the familiarity of the symbols would make it easier for the Pagans to convert to Christianity.
