Jesus is God
There is one God(Deut. 6:4) in three persons(Matt. 28:19).
Jesus is God(John 1:1,14; 1Timothy 3:16). Jesus thought it NOT ROBBERY to be equal with God(Philippians 2:6) but being in the flesh humbled Himself to His Father to give to us an example to follow.
Another name for God is...I AM(Exodus 3:14). Jesus said, before Abraham was...I AM(John 8:58).[youtube][googlevid][liveleak]

The Father gave authority to the Son.
He is God manifested in the flesh. Just as important as the father although two different persons of the trinity.

Jesus is God and Our Lord.
1 John 1–3._ 1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.

Re: Jesus is God
The Doctrine of the Trinity teaches that within the unity of the one Godhead there are three separate persons who are coequal in power, nature, and eternity. This doctrine is derived from the clear teaching of Scripture, and is not a man-made doctrine as some (such as the Jehovah's Witnesses) have claimed. Let us briefly examine some of the New Testament evidences for this important doctrine.

1. The Incarnation. The birth of the Lord Jesus Christ as described in the accounts in Matthew and Luke show that the doctrine of the Trinity was not a later invention of theologians. Luke records what an angel said to Mary: "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:35).
Since other passages of Scripture reveal that the term "Most High" refers to God the Father, we have in Luke a concrete instance of the Holy Spirit, the Father, and the Son all being mentioned together in the supernatural event of the Incarnation.

2. The Baptism of Our Lord. When Jesus Christ was baptized, the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit "descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: 'You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased'" (Luke 3:21-22). In these verses we see the Son being baptized, the Spirit descending upon Him, and the Father bearing testimony.

3. Discourses of Christ. In John 14--16 Christ speaks of the persons of the Trinity in His Upper Room Discourse. Jesus declared to the disciples, "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever -- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you" (John 14:16-17). Our Lord here prays to the Father for the Spirit, and His emphasis on tri-unity is quite apparent. In John 14:26 and 15:26 Christ uses the same formula, mentioning the three persons of the Deity and indicating their unity, not only of purpose and will but of basic nature.

4. Paul's Letters. The apostle Paul definitely taught the triune nature of God. He wrote: "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all" (2 Cor. 13:14). It would have been difficult for Paul to give this benediction if the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were not equal persons within the Godhead.

5. The Great Commission. In Matthew 28:18-20 the Lord Jesus commissions the disciples to go out and preach the gospel and to make disciples of all nations. He commands them also to baptize "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Taken with the other passages bearing on the subject, this becomes an extremely powerful argument for the Christian doctrine of the trinity.

6. Creation. Although the Bible does not explain to us how the three persons are the one God, it tells us most emphatically that the Spirit of God created the world (Gen. 1:2), the Father created the world (Heb. 1:2), and the Son created the world (Col. 1:16). If you check the creation references in the New Testament, you will see that these particular references are bolstered by several others teaching the same things.
The apostle Paul declared in Acts 17:24, "the God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands." This forces us to an irresistible conclusion. As creation has been attributed to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit singly and collectively, they are the one God. There cannot be three gods. The Scripture declares: "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other" (Isa. 45:22). Hence there is unity in trinity and trinity in unity.

7. The Resurrection of Christ. A final instance of Trinitarian emphasis is that of the resurrection of our Lord. In John 2 Christ declared to the Jews, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days" (v. 19). John hastens to tell us that Jesus was speaking of the resurrection of His earthly body (v. 21). Other Scriptures, however, state that Christ was raised by the agency of the Holy Spirit (e.g., Rom. 8:11). And Peter explicitly states that the Father raised the Son (Acts 3:26). So, again, God's Word affirms the triune nature of God. We may not fully understand the great truth of the Trinity. However, we can see the rays of light which emanate from God's Word and which teach us that, in a mysterious sense beyond the comprehension of man's finite mind, God is one in nature but three in person.

The religion of submission cannot survive an open and honest discussion of its convoluted and foolish scriptures, its sexually perverted terrorist prophet, or its deceitful and demented god. When Western leaders become unified and resolute in their hostility to Islam's violent and ungodly beginnings, Muslims will flee the religion because they will be horrified by its endorsement of terrorism, mass murder, slave trading, plunder, kidnapping, and rape.

If Muslims & their apologists really want to cure "Islamophobia," here is an easy way. Focus their indignation on Muslims committing violent acts in the name of Islam, not on non-Muslims reporting on those acts.

Re: Jesus is God
Jesus is God Almighty Creator of everything

But he came in the form of a man with no more power than Adam had before he disobeyed God.

Read this below.

Who do you say Jesus is ?

John 12:44-45

44 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in me, believes not in me, but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees me sees Him who sent me.

Jesus is making it clear here that you are to believe in him, yet Jesus wants you to mature in him and understand something else quite wonderful about him. That is that the one who sent him is in fact the same one you see when you look at Jesus.

Jesus is God Almighty the Father however while on earth he never operated with more power than that of a son. So before you misunderstand read the rest of this document.

Isaiah 45-21-23

21 Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior; There is none besides me.

Jesus is a just God and Savior and it states there is no GOD or Savior besides the God of Israel. Since this is Jewish scripture then Jesus is either God and Savior or he is not. If this scripture is true and for correctly taught Christians we know it is, then Jesus is God Almighty the creator and our Heavenly Father. John 1 makes that clear as well.

22 “Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

Once again God declares there is no God but the God of Israel

23 I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall take an oath.

Notice above God said he has sworn by himself and to him every knee shall bow. If every knee is going to bow to Jesus then Jesus has to be God Almighty our Father.

John 14:9

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Isaiah 9:6

6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And his name will be called; Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

John 20:26-28

26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” 28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

So who is Jesus Christ according to the scriptures above?

Jesus is God the Father the creator, but when Jesus became flesh he came as a son with no more power than Adam had before the fall. Adam had great authority and wisdom with God in the garden until he fell. Jesus had to pass the test Adam failed to redeem us which was temptation and obedience. If Jesus had used his power as God rather than limit himself to no more power than Adam had before the fall then Lucifer would have known who Jesus was and from God’s point of view it would have been cheating.

When Jesus said he considered it robbery to be considered equal to God he did mean it. Even though Jesus was the Father he was operating with only the power Adam had as a son before the fall. Any other power Jesus manifested he attested to the Holy Spirit's work. The Holy spirit also spoke out of heaven saying concerning Jesus, ” This is my beloved Son in whom I’m well pleased.” Jesus also said ” The father is greater than I.” Note there is no contradiction here, Jesus at this point in time was limiting himself in power to that of a son.

Jesus knew he had to die for us in order to redeem us and Israel legally, Jesus also knew he had to keep hidden the fullness of who he was until all was fulfilled, but Jesus gave us clues everywhere who he was. When Jesus died on the Cross for us he died as a real son of God because he limited himself in power to that of a son, but when Jesus rose for our justification he no longer had to hide who he was. Peter said you are the son of the living God, and Jesus affirmed that without correction to Peter. Years later doubting Thomas said MY LORD AND MY GOD and Jesus did not correct him.

Before Jesus had ascended he said to Mary ” Do not touch me Mary for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Later he said to Thomas, put your hand in my side and touch my wound and be believing not faithless. The scriptures declare that no one can say Jesus is Lord (with faith & understanding) without the Holy Spirit. The Word Lord in the Greek is Kurios, it is as Thomas spoke it. It does not mean Lord Churchill or some knighted person from England. It means LORD as in God Almighty.

Most Christians call Jesus Lord but do not even know what the Greek and Hebrew meanings for the word Lord mean. The writer of the Gospels were NOT confused about who Jesus was after it was revealed. They made it clear in their writings what they meant. They could have used many usages of the greek concerning the word Lord. In the Greek the writers could have used the word Lord that means like a landlord or a banker or even a person with great authority but lessor than God, but they did not use that usage. The Greek word for Lord they used the word Kurios, which means God and Master. This is the exact word Thomas pronounced about Jesus when he finally got it right and said to Jesus: "My Lord and God"

1 Corinthians 12:3

Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

Did you notice that above, it says no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. I'm sure every atheist could say Jesus is Lord pretending for a good laugh if they wanted to. So what does this scripture really mean for a Christian? Why do you need the Holy Spirit in order to say this with real understanding and faith. Because you cannot say until the Holy Spirit reveals to you what it really means, and you cannot say it as a real believer unless you know it is absolutely true.

The writer used the word Kurios for Lord in this scripture. Kurios means God Almighty and Master. So if the scripture is true and all real Christians really believe the scripture, then they should say, "No one can say Jesus is God Almighty except by the Holy Spirit." That is what this scripture means in the original Greek and that is what is actually saying. If the English translators had any guts at all they would have translated that way. They knew what the word Kurios means.

Now Jesus does not require you to understand this to be saved, however to really know him it is quite important.

Now I made it really clear in the first portion of this page how to reconcile some of the other misunderstandings. Those of you who do not know who Jesus is but say you are Christian then you are at best a Christian who wants to believe but mostly likely has never had a real experience with the Holy Spirit of Jesus. If you have had that experience then you have yet to get serious with studying the scriptures with the Holy Spirit's help, because the Holy Spirit would have surely shown this to you and help you understand it if you asked. If you are over dependent on Pastors and preachers this may also be the other reason. You have to get to the place where the Holy Spirit is always your first teacher. If you lean to much on pastor then they even the best of them will limit your growth and relationship with the Holy Spirit. So if you do not yet understand this then mostly likely you are a baby Christian at best concerning the word of God and may have good and honest intentions. However you have very little understanding. I hope you will mature in Christ Jesus the Lord our God and seek his Holy Spirit to teach you.

Every disciple of Jesus Christ when they called Jesus Lord knew what they were saying, they were saying that Jesus Christ is God. I think its about time you know too.

Notes:

Jehovah is an anglicized representation of Hebrew a vocalization of the Tetragrammaton (YHWH), the proper name of the God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible. In the Greek translation of the Bible that was used in the time of Jesus, the personal name of God, YAHWEH, was translated into Greek as (kurios), translates into English as Lord or Master

Jesus is God's son. He was sent by God.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17492600

The Father gave authority to the Son.
He is God manifested in the flesh. Just as important as the father although two different persons of the trinity.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31922314

He Is ONE, in three persons! Don't twist it the other way round, like a liar.
The full authority over all Creation of God Father is being God!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31698570

How am I twisting it? Isn't that the very basis of the trinity that they are all one, yet the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are different persons of the Godhead. I believe the truth.

No, Jesus was a conduit who found the one true God in his heart. Jesus found and embraced Lucifer.

This shows that the trinity is ETERNAL

God put Himself on earth to save us from our sins, while of course the Father is still in control. Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. Trust me I don't have it twisted.

JESUS IS GOD IN THE FLESH

THE WORD OF GOD MADE FLESH

5For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

8The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.

8The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH

his name is called The Word of God.

The Word of God Seated on a White Horse

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon it was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.

12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13And he was clothed with a robe dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15And out of his mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
