So media, which is it? I know my dad had a nasty bug a few weeks ago, don't know if it was this strain of flu, and he had the flu shot. On the news yesterday, they said that in places like Boston it was poor people mostly being affected. Kind of strange how you have not heard of any celebrities being sick or politicians etc. Do they know something the rest of us don't! Also, why do people run to the er when they get flu symptoms. Symptoms started Tuesday morning, chills/body ache so I went home and slept most of Tuesday. However the flu that I got was a monster, it will knock the socks right off of you. Fever got very high so I took some Nyquil knocked the fever down a good chunk and helped with the pain management,(Hips felted like I'd gone rounds in a kickboxing fight)Nyquil helped me get some sleep and kept the fever down. Next day I got some Dayquil to keep the fever and pain down was still noticeable on Thursday but I was just recovering by then. Friday morning right now and pains almost completely gone fatigue is still there sinus's are a bit stuffy and chest a bit clogged but its fading away. If you don't do anything for the first day of symptoms this Flu will kill you, its fucking brutal. |
