Rest of the family had it from three to five days and I've been coughing like a coal miner in the rain. Tried all the remidies listed on GLP, but I get it all fucked-up: I'm nixing vitamin D with garlic cloves while putting apple vineger on the soles of my feet while twirling a chiken above my head - and I still can't shake this thing.

i think many mustn´t die of the flu if they maintain their vitamins/minerals and eat healthy - well, even might not get it at all. but a weak body can´t fight it off properly.
that´s why so many died of the spanish flu as well, misnourished people then..

Allegedly couple of years ago a group of scientists went to unearth bodies that had died from the Spanish Flu in cold climate and had been preserved..cant remember location..to take samples..

I remember, they got the live virus and exposed monkeys to it to ascertain how quickly symptoms developed after exposure. The head doctor was freaked out because all the monkeys died in a few days and his "trial/study", was expected to run for 14 days.

In short the team were dumbfounded at the speed of infection and the speed of fatality.

I live about 40 minutes from Fairborn. It just doesn't seem normal that a healthy 22 year old dies from the flu in 2013. They did release that she had the flu, strep throat, double pneumonia and a staph infection. That's some scary shit...and sad that they couldn't help her before it was too late.
