You stated that the KI pills were taken off the shelves immediately after 3/11 Earthquake/Tsunami/Fuku, so how were a large majority supposed to supplement with them if there were none available?

Some of us took precautions, others were not able to. Precautions or not, we still have to breath, eat and drink and no manner of precautions will fully protect you from massive amounts of Radioactive isotopes accumulating in our food/air/water.
