I am a girl, not a man. I got my KI pills before they went off the shelf. Also supplemented with seaweed and Zinc. I have a stash of liquid Iodine also. You stated that the KI pills were taken off the shelves immediately after 3/11 Earthquake/Tsunami/Fuku, so how were a large majority supposed to supplement with them if there were none available?

Some of us took precautions, others were not able to. Precautions or not, we still have to breath, eat and drink and no manner of precautions will fully protect you from massive amounts of Radioactive isotopes accumulating in our food/air/water.

Maybe in a forum like this, or in a perfect world, the "question" will be asked by the MSM. But in the *real* world we live in, any information effecting the bottom line of the Big Pharm industry will be creatively sidestepped.

Everywhere I drive here in the Phoenix area stores have banners up for flu shots. I've never seen anything like it anywhere I've lived, (I'm 54).

The hospitals here are notorious for sending people home before they should. My neighbor was sent home with a bleeding femoral artery and his wife found him almost dead in the middle of the night with blood dripping off his bed sheets and soaking the carpet. Another was sent home with a staph infection. I've been released from the ER with a IV still in my arm, and a close friend was sent home with a rusty nail still stuck deep in his foot.

What makes this flu problem even worse is this medical system. From experience I've learned to NOT trust it. And if you can't trust the people who's lives and careers are supposed to be focused on helping us, that leaves many of *us* with an even greater mistrust of TPTB.

I have a few friends who got this, most of them were already vaccinated. I have not come down with it unless you count the stomach bug I had a few weeks ago. The biggest thing I have noticed is people coughing.
These are some things that I do to take care of myself when I feel down, and I have not been sick in over a year, when I am it usually only lasts a few days with no secondary infections. Before I figured out these tricks I used to always end up with bronchitis and catch every little thing that came along. Things are much different now, so I know I must be doing something right.

I take a sublingual vitamin b (niacin, b6, thiamin, riboflavin, vit c ( all "Coenzymated", and with coenzyme q10 added)), when my sinuses bother me I make a balm out of vitamin e, shea butter, thyme oil, lavender, grapefruit seed extract, and peppermint, and apply it to my upper lip and nose to stop chapping and disinfect. I rinse the sinuses with xylitol and sodium bicarbonate regularly, and add a few drops of colloidal silver or just a drop of GSE. I also apply moist heat to my face and sinuses using washcloths and in the shower, and breathe (carefully) over steamy pots containing the above oils and sea salt. I drink freah grated ginger root with honey and lots of water. I eat light soup, and or cracker/bread. I also break down and take lots of sudafed in addition to my usual antihistamines and codeine syrup for the cough and to aid in sleep at night. I also wear sinus strips if it is swollen and take motrin or tylenol as needed. I sleep as much as possible and try to sweat and move around when I am up, as much as possible. I also take long, hot epsom/sea salt essential oil baths, and drink coconut water to redydrate.

I also avoid touching buttons or doorknobs with my hand. I usually use a foot or elbow or the edge of a coat or sleeve. I wash my hands a lot, and thoroughly, and groom nails short. I try to avoid touching my face, unless I have just washed my hands. I don't have kids, or exposure to them much. I am a student and am around a lot of people, many in their homes. I also am a bodyworker/healer and am around a lot of people. People usually tell me that "I have the touch" or that my hands are really hot. What is strange about it is that my skin actually gets cool, and my hands and feet radiate heat. I have had attunements by reiki masters and a lot of work on my immune system.

This illness seems to be affecting all different types of people. It doesn't seem to matter if you take the vaccine, vitamins and/or supplements, never get sick or are always coming down with something. I've noticed those that take vitamin D (diet or supplement) combined with a healthy diet seem to be fairing the best, having either not come down with the illness or only mild symptoms have been felt.

I'm curious if there are other factors that have not been taken into consideration. I am curious if it has anything to do with genetics or perhaps blood type. Another factor could be prescription/otc drugs taken regularly as well.

As for myself I have not taken the vaccine. I don't take any prescription drugs and very rarely take any kind of OTC drug. I prefer herbal alternatives. I am RH+, normally my supplements consist of B Complex w/Zinc, C 1000mg, D3 5000IU, Magnesium 500mg, St Johns Wort 900mg & Ginko Biloba 120mg. Since everyone started getting sick at work I have doubled my B Complex, C and D3 supplements. I eat mostly fresh, organic or natural foods. I consume a piece of dark chocolate daily, have at least a glass of red wine a day and drink coffee every morning. This isn't a whole lot different than what many on here have said they do yet they are sick and I am not.

At work for example there are 5 others in the office with me everyday. They all got the flu shot and 4 of 5 have had it with noticeable symptoms, 1 had to take a few days off, she is also the person that is sick most often and has many health issues. So I know I've been exposed to some nasty bugs yet I haven't had one symptom.
