You all do realize that Vitamin D naturally comes from the sun right? The main reason why is because we have become a subterranean dwelling civilization (whether underground or under wood and plaster).

Maintenance dose......approx. 1,000 IUs per 33 pounds of body weight.

If you do not want the pills.......you can order a safe tanning bed (electronic ballasts) or sun lamp.


Get a blood test twice a year to check your D3 level. Therapeutic range is 40-70 ng/mL. You can order the tests if you want to and prick yourself at home.

how is it manufactured, is there anything harmful or unnatural? i know it may have benefits, but I have a certain belief system. I prefer a natural source like the sun. Could i use a lamp instead?

Just chiming in to add my experience with Vit D- it cured my depression! I take 5-8000 IU a day now and I am rarely sick, but even better is the no depression. 3 years now!
