try to get a deferment on your student loans for financial hardship. try telling your wife and family your situation and ask if they can offer any advice. do good things, dont give up.

I"ve helped a couple of people find jobs down here in Dallas for decent pay. One guy was 48, had been out of work for nearly 2 years and had sent out so many resumes he had lost count

One person I know found their job through craigslist, and they invited them down for the interview sight unseen:

DFW Houston and Austin are booming, esp if you have some high tech skills. You can get a decent 2 br for under $800 if you look, which is probably better than most cities in LA

In the oil patch parts of this state and others like Wyoming, MT and ND, if you can just get an entry level wireline job you could be making six figures within 2 years...if don't mind spending time outdoors

Now here's an oddball tip for yah'

Go over to New Jersey, and pick up a Limo Job.

Pay isn't great, but it's better than zero, plus you get to be outside all day.

Seems like a stupid job, until you realize that "Poor People" do not rent limos.

And "Poor People" do not hire others.

The Jersey Limos are popular in Manhattan and surrounds due to certain cost reductions.

So, MAYBE you meet someone(s) who can hire you for real MANS pay vs kiddie wages where your wife must also work in order to live.

Maybe it's somebody riding, or maybe it's somewhere they are going, like a resturant. Because you see, when a resturant, or other business has "big spender" clientel, you can assume they will have a payroll that at least has "some" White-man's wages on it.

Plus the cars are cool too!

Don't look for a job, look for work.

Been self-employed since September last year, best decision ever. I sometimes earn 700 Euros for a day's work, I used to be employed part-time earning 450 Euros net a month! I work with languages, instead of now teaching English to foreign students earning fuck all money, I just find work instead, such as translating a film script, or translating PR Releases (and then funnily enough getting asked by the company to do the actual PR - more money, easy work).

Fuck getting a job, just find work man. Took me *YEARS* to figure it out, always on shit wages, hating my job, my boss, yet doing fuck all about it.

I've averaged 80 hour work weeks for 15 years. I have yet to meet anyone who works harder than me. And I make a buck eighty a year for my efforts.
