Re: I can't find a job, I feel like a loser!! :(
I love offering these positions to people who 'need a job' becaus I'll instantly see the excuses start flying why they can't work. Everyone bitches about not working until its time to actually work. Just like street bums. I won't give them money but when I offer them honest work they recoil in disgust.

Like you've ever done a hard days work with sweat and blood and dirt you chair sitting fat ass.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30821361

All the non working losers attack.

I've averaged 80 hour work weeks for 15 years.

Doing what? Sitting on your fat ass of course being a good little Hitler cruise

Funny. I can run 5 minute miles all day and I'd slap your ugly mug and you wouldn't do shit about it.

Still waiting on the Op. obviously doesn't REALLY want a job.

I'm 25, unmarried with no kids. Sounds like you have a hell of an opportunity there for the OP to bring in some Man money. If he doesn't want to take you up on that offer, I live in Texas, will pass background/drug checks, and am willing to relocate.
I'm going out on a limb and assuming you were sincere in your offer, and the OP doesnt realize it.

Sure thing. It is a maritime job. Texas is a good place for it. Companies will pay for you to travel. Your rotation would be 20 to 30 days on, two weeks off. Depends on the company.

Ship sizes range from 200 feet to a 1000 feet. Big boats. Just like working on land except you see the world.

Still interested?

Reply for the job with what the job is. Do not think that since you are over-qualified that they want you. They want someone for the job, just do not tell them, they think that you want more, and they can not provide it.

Be as dumb as the job you are seeking is and the person as dumb as they need!

And never tell them, but that does not mean that once you get a job that you can not seek another, make new friends, find out something new, and all of that!

Speding your days on GLP won't help either. No one can help you here so get off your ass and look for a job outside, not on your computer! There's always a job waiting for you somewhere. I guess you're just too lazy and ain't trying hard enough.

I gave him a perfect job opportunity and he walked away and quit posting. Just like every other lowlife that comes on here bitching about a job. They refuse to actually work but cry about it like bitchez. It's pathetic.

I hope the government cuts off all unemployment. Maybe a little starvation will motivate the slackers.

It would help to design your resume to the job but the best bet is word of mouth or just volunteer somewhere to get a chance to make contacts.

You apply to shipping companies like I posted above.

Google "shipping companies" and go down the list. Check out Gcaptain.com. There is a wealth of information in their forum. You'll have a job making $2000 a week guranteed inside of two weeks.

I had a problem finding a job when i came out of the university to so i expanded my search to other cities(in your case mybe even other states in the us) and in the end i found a great job and just relocated. you mybe will have to live modestly for a while but in the long term you will get experience that will allow you to either open your own business and make money or get a better job in the state you want.
Good luck.

Get a (California) State job, they are always hiring, even when they say they are not. Even if you get a low-level position you get full benefits: [link to jobs.ca.gov]

[link to www.edd.ca.gov]

Quite a number of State agencies have offices/job sites all around the state. Department of Transportation, Dept. of Conservation, Dept. of Forestry and Fire Protection, Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), Employment Development Department, California Highway Patrol, Dept of Corrections and Rehabilitation (they are so hated they will hire anyone who is willing to come work for them!).

Most of the jobs are at a desk using a computer. As a college graduate you have general skills which will translate to their requirements. Staff Services Analyst is the most common entry-level classification.

If you don't want to work for the State, at least use their job services:

Get busy. If you can't figure out the labyrinth hiring process, look online for a coach or a book.

Ya, the economy is improving. Bull! At the rate of 155,000 jobs a month with 24 million unemployed people, that leads to it taking 12-13 more like 13 years. Ya, same thing Romney said when running for President. Planned to create the jobs over 12 years. Now, who is B.S. who?

The economy is improving! B.S.!
