The moisture level in the atmosphere has been mentioned as a preventative for the virus to set into our nasal passages.... the dry crusty boogers seem to house the criminal virus!!!! - People in cold climates use heaters, which reduce the air moisture (humidity)....have crusty boogers for virus to hang out on- lol
Many in mild climates use their ac to take moisture out of their indoor air even in the winter when they don't need cooling...
