What's with the eerily pink glow in the UK sky every night and every morning? | |
ArcanoExAngelos User ID: 21559870 United States 01/11/2013 02:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been monitoring the sky every evening and morning since November 2012. Quoting: Just the facts! As a result I have made the following observations! 1. It's always cloudy! Surprise, surprise!! 2. There is always a pale pinkish glow especially low down near the horizon although it is prominent towards the East and South!? Now, my observations are always well after sunset and well before sunrise, typically 7am and 10pm. it's obviously something reflecting or refracting through the cloud layer or something within the atmosphere itself! ~ But what is causing it? ~ Go outside now and look for yourself if you think this is some sort of joke! I'm in the North West of the UK but I bet it's everywhere? Come on UK call it in...Let's do a survey! I saw this in the dawn and at midnight or later , last weekend in Florida in the US. Eerily pinkish orange haze... Last Edited by ArcanoExAngelos on 01/11/2013 02:44 PM |

A pinkish hue in the sky all around especially low down near the horizon!! Is it our magnetic field failing perhaps? Or is it a result of our overheating plasmasphere? |

Even over the sea which I can see clearly from here! We have noticed it since Friday.. Yes! It's something you'd probably not really notice until someone said something but I've noticed myself it since late last year! Interesting isn't it? PiscesJedi User ID: 1846239 United Kingdom 02/19/2013 08:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am a nightowl sort, so I go to bed really late (3-5am) and I always look out of my bedroom window before I go to bed. Almost always the sky has a pinkish hue. I have no idea what it is but it has been going on for years!! It isn't light pollution, as on some nights it isn't there. On those nights I have noticed that the sky is really dark instead, like I remember from my childhood. Warrior princess |
pink/reddish sky....yepp User ID: 31016426 United States 02/23/2013 01:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've been monitoring this for about 2 years I live in Rhode island....late night skys are brighter And brighter every year and almost every night the skys are blocked out by what looks like one huge cloud. Last year I seen the moon probably 3 times the size it normally is and was blood red and looked like it was steaming? Then come 6 planes spraying the shit out of the sky to block the moon out....in less than 20 minutes the moon was 90% blocked out, chemtrail act anyone? There is something horribly wrong....its quite obvious |
