Some kids are able to have their elbow joints hyper-extended. I have a toddler with low muscle tone and his joints are very floppy. Sometimes his hand looks backwards and it freaks me out, but causes him no pain. I can even twist his wrist into an awkward position. His specialists do it when they examine him. I also had a best friend as a child whose elbows did that all the time. This picture looks fine to me. YMMV |
