Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31970207 Of course, there are a few states and cities that have laws against it (check yours) but the vast majority do not. There are 4 states that have no permit/permission needed to conceal carry. Montana is almost as good. This is called Constitutional carry. Open carry is very accepted in many places. Only necessary to have one after you have killed the thug. Quoting: Desert Fox So why don't you get a license? You want to do jail time after a confrontation? That is my risk and no one elses. I would rather face the music alive, than dead from some scum bag. :TOMABANEFOX: It's more humane this way ya know, or burn on totem pole. Choice is yours. |

Police and even plain clothes security people do it all the time and no-one gets all worked up about them. If more permit carry holders opened carried the public would view them the same way they use to before idiots like Eric Holder made it taboo. I have a carry permit badge I wear with mine when I open carry. Haven't done it very much yet, but I haven't noticed anyone freaking out when I did. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Permits and licenses has always been a control mechanism for us peons. Too bad there's no viable way to fight that bullshit without getting into very serious trouble yourself.
