It's not so much as them getting scared, I think. But they might be a bit scared. They've been targetting conspiracy theorists and truthers alot recently. It might be a time where they're trying to makes us look more foolish and crazy despite that there's been more and more people waking up.

It's more distractions to cover up the truth. Just means they're trying to work harder at sweeping the evidence of such hoaxes and other coverups under the proverbial rug.
