i would like to comment on this but there is so much to this story we dont know about. although it does leave me wondering what kind of conditions can create a person capable of such an act.

Let me tell you something, I am a hardcore gamer, I play video games for over 15 years and played a lot of gore themed video games.. Guess what, I always found dismembering or murdering someone in " real " life disguisting and I cannot watch gory horror movies because of the amount of blood and gore.

Just because a yound person loves to play video games doesn't mean he will murder somebody in future. I raised with games and not a killer and don't intend to being one. I am pretty sure % 99 of the gamers are same and don't even have balls to fight let alone killing people.

That %1 is always there, no matter raised with video games or in a mountain range away from civilization, people with killer souls always gonna kill, no matter how they live.

I dunno. I was also brought up on video games, & am fairly desensitized to video game violence. I watched a movie today where a man needed his arm amputated, & I couldn't watch it. So I really think your logic is flawed.

Any 'M' rated game is intended for adults only, same with any 18 rated film, you can't soley lay blame on these types of media, videos games and movies don't raise kids; parents do.

You have be unbalanced to reenact anything gory, horrific or illegal you see on the tv screen, besides the average age of video gamers is in the mid-thirties.... Btw on a global level ,violence is at its lowest level ever...it spiked in the 1970s but has been declining ever since - look it up.
