I won't see Zero Dark Thirty & neither should you
I won't be seeing the expected block buster movie Zero Dark Thirty and neither should you. The movie asserts that torture was used to discover Bin Laden's whereabouts which, historically speaking, is a total invention.

By making use of that invention the producers of this movie assert that torture is an appropriate method for extracting useful and actionable information from enemy combatants/prisoners of war even though specifically condemned by the Geneva Conventions to which the United States is a signatory and which were ratified by the Senate. As you constitutional scholars know, a duly signed and ratified treaty stands alongside the constitution and federal law as the law of the land in the United States.

So support law and order, stand up against torture and go see Promised Land or Lincoln instead the exploitation flick that is Zero Dark Thirty.

Memories have also been erased of the fact that good old Bin died right after Christmas 2001, reported by all major media and the information somehow vanished.

Bin Laden's capture was a staged movie itself. So this is a movie of a movie, like a 'behind the scenes' documentary.tounge
To know means to know all. Not to know all means not to know. In order to know all, it is only necessary to know a little. But, in order to know this little, it is first necessary to know pretty much.

I saw you handing out advice on another thread, it's ok to tell people what they should do and think, I mean if that is what you want to do, knock it off.

In what credible source was that reported?

Why did this "news" not stop a decade of war & doubled military spending on the country's credit card?

How does this memory erasure work?

Who is doing the memory erasure and how do you know that your memory has not been erased and re-written several times?

I doubt that it is an excellent movie since it represents itself as a dramatization of history when it a falsification of it. Certainly the audience thought it wonderful since undoubtedly all sorts of emotional, patriotic and manipulative buttons were pushed.

I saw Zero Dark Thirty today and thought it was really good. They showed that prisoners respond better to just simply talking. The torture scene? Puhlease...I've seen worse on mainstream TV.

Hello, are there still any American citizens with working brain cells out there?

Shall we review the 'facts' of the Osama capture?

1) Osama's body was never shown.
2) His DNA was never produced.
3) His body was immediately 'tossed' into the ocean.
4) He was given an immediate honorable 'traditional muslim' burial at sea. Since when does a desert tribal cult have a traditional burial at sea?
5) The navy seal team, team 6 starts to suddenly 'die off' at an unprecedented rate due to various 'accidents'.
6) Insiders reported Osama dead by 2001.

I just don't understand how the masses can sit by and calmly accept these explanations and actions without raising an alarm.

As far as I'm concerned the movie and the book are nothing more than treasonous propaganda and the writers should be prosecuted for treason and Obama should immediately be impeached. But then what do I know. Clearly I must not be enlightened or a deep enough thinker to appreciate what Obama has done for America.

Oh I forgot the coup de grace.
7) The death of Osama buried any interest or investigation into an apparently fraudulent Obama birth certificate.
