They all are already connected. The theory is something I have pondered, but somewhat in reverse.

Can you elaborate upon your reverse thinking? Funny you should ask, this was a post from earlier today :) These filaments and superclusters made up of galaxies sharply resemble the structure of a bio-chemical neural network; i.e. a BRAIN.
