I think the helicopter shot is part of the show.
You see how it stays stationary and the people run into
the camera view from stage right.

Every person you see running is a cop staging a drill of chasing a perp. You never actually "see" this person they are alleged to be chasing.

Watch it closely several times.

I suspect if you asked tptb this question the answer would be that right down about 20-30 miles as the crow flies there was a mock event being held....and low and behold they got a call that Sandy Hook was under siege! So as quickly as the bird could turn and go - voila! There they are!

I'm sure that's how they'd cover their ass.....

I am an officer. I'd prefer not to say for who for the time being. I've been visiting this website often over the last six months weighing whether or not I should join. I, like many of you, see what is going on and in a way hate that I am associated with it, simply by my job title. Trust me, unless someone is getting hurt in front of me, i'm only a cop for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week! I finally decided to join hoping I can give my two cents about what I think. All this crap going on is making me consider turning in my badge. If a gun confiscation is ordered I'm DONE!! Thankfully, I have never had to respond to any type of mass casualty event and Lord-willing hopefully I never will! I will say this, if I ever am in a situation like this, and see the cover up right in front of me, I'll be screaming from the mountain tops! At least until I'm silenced. Part of me thinks what's the point of even talking about this, nothing will ever change, while the other part just needs to get some things off my chest. Everyone who is helping to uncover this for what it really is, keep up the good work!!

Maybe it's a different video or an enhanced section of the same video but I did see one where a K-9 is attacking a man on the ground. Anyone else see that one?

Really? I've only know 2 L.E., and have known many, that went against the code of silence. If they didn't actively help cover incidents up they would just look the other way.

The "code of silence" exists but really depends on the department and who they recruit. These days you cant tell a dirty joke in the locker room without someone reporting it. I'm sure it still exists in bigger cities/departments but I've never seen anything swept under the rug. My department is about 40 officers. Nowdays everyone is so damn worried about liability they leave no stone unturned. Not to mention if you look at someone the wrong way there are cameras at every angle to capture it.

And yes, I would try to expose a cover up of this magnitude (if possible). I'd try to get cellphone photos or whatever I could. Then you have the problem of where to go with the info. News agencies would think you're a kook. I admit, short of renting a plane with a mile long banner it would be difficult to get the info out. For something like this though I just couldnt sit back and not try to something! I'm one of two people at my department that believes a cover up is going on. There could be more but this is not a topic I bring up at work often enough to find out. Its not exactly "conversation" to have with a co-worker unless you want to be scheduled to see a counselor before your next shift!

Also if you look closely in this video you will notice in the upper left hand corner there is another man that seems to be hiding in the bushes. He starts to move away as the cops apprehend the other man.

Op..I have a question for you. In this video at the 4:00 min mark there is a private plane buzzing over the school. Who the heck is in charge of air space over an active crime scene? So what was that plane doing..sightseeing? Seems like that would be sort of dangerous with the choppers in the air. I would think they would halt recreational air traffic to make room for flight for life.

Also...in the video they report there were only 2 HAND guns found on the shooter. One was a Glock and the other a Sig..How did they mistake either of those for an AR?

The airspace should have been closed, but who knows? Hopefully it was one of the finest at GLP trying to get a up close view! As far as the weapons used it amazed me how fast the MSM knew what firearms were used. This is not info police are going give that early in an investigation. To me its just one of many red flags.

This is a good argument. Nobody really questions how a freakin helicopter got there so quick. Unless the helicopter footage was filmed months prior and then shown t the world on that day.

I havn't heard anyone mention this one yet. but when looking at the helicopter footage I noticed a shadow from another helicopter . bottom left corner. going right to left.

Is it just me or is the woods chase really blurry, i would have thought in these days it would be clearer

Additional points
(1) The chase occurred late in the event because the door to the shed is seen to be open indicating that this occurred after SWAT cleared the shed

(2) The chase seems to indicate that the lead two people fleeing are both perps because they both split up into the woods. Person 2 does not stay in pursuit of person 1

The tall guy in the woods in the black coat and watchcap looks very much like the man seen in the photo of Chapman carrying a (possible) child across the parking lot. A sort of weird outfit in general, or looks weird on him. The guy in fact looks, in body shape, oddly like the fake Adam Lanza.

The chase in the woods happens long after the first arriving units.

I think the helicopter was on scene, if I remember correctly, by 9:38. I might be wrong, but I believe in that evidence file of 911 tapes in the recent release, there is an 8 second audio where a woman says what sounds like "chopper" about 6 seconds in. Just follow the number on the file titles (the hour is in 24 hour format and for some reason is wrong but the minutes and seconds are accurate).

Since the first 911 call was at 9:35:30'ish, it arrived there in 2 and a half minutes?

Also, I remember reading two journalists were arrested for sticking a camera up at the helicopter which they naturally thought was a weapon (bazooka, phaser, who knows). Was the police response time unrealistic also? Within 3-4 minutes of the first call, how many were already on the scene? Wasn't there at least 3 groups of 3?

Maybe the shed was already open at the time, because the chase corresponds exactly with the custodians call after the 9:39 minute mark when the gym teacher tells the custodian a guy is running passed the gymnasium. I believe this also corresponds to when a team split up.

I was working that day, and as some of you may remember I work as a newsroom assignment editor at a Columbus television station. IF there was a chopper overhead as early as 9:38, that would likely have been a law enforcement bird (I'm not familiar with CSP's aerial program, but they would be the most likely candidate). We did not have live aerial pictures from a news helicopter coming on the affiliate feeds until after 10, and IIRC it was closer to 10:15am. This response time is in line with a NYC television station heading out to CT from the city.

However, if a CSP helicopter was on scene as quickly as 9:38, that could be just another indication that they were seemingly much more well prepared and appraised of what was going on than the "local" first responders.

According to the police audio, the search of the shed, woods, and eventually the properties at 6 and 10 Riverside began around 11:15 a.m. Up until that point, it seems (from the police audio, anyway) that officers have been concentrated on the school itself.

But the "chase" as it's often called is likely when cops go after the two reporters lurking in the woods. That encounter is in a police report, and I believe it gives the approximately time officers confronted the reporters (though I'm not positive).
