I stopped by my local gun shop this evening. They had a new Smith & Wesson M&P 15 22. I dont know how they got it, but it was there. I almost bought it. The thing that stopped me was the fact that there are NO magazines to be found anywhere, along with the fact that I havent seen any .22 LR around here in over a month.
What good is a gun without ammo?
I have been wanting one of these for a while. Guess I should have dropped the trigger a little sooner.

In '08, we saw even CETMEs priced WAY over what should be considered reasonable here in CO. The owner is a stand up kind of guy. He has not elevated the price on anything so far. The price you would have paid a month ago is still the same today. It was $449.00 plus tax. I have seen them a little cheaper, but not by much. I am sure it will be gone very soon. He normally has an inventory of probably 150 rifles and around 250 pistols..Right now. There might be 20 firearms in total left. Most of them are single shot shotguns and revolvers. Then good for you/ him. That's the caliber of establishment that deserves the local business.
