Why?

I've noticed the water level of Lake Erie also seems low lately, but I'm no expert

Aliens stole it for their planet. Or due to record high temp and low rainfall the water has evaporated and not been replenished. But I prefer the alien scenario

Re: Where did all the water go?
Nestle has businesses setup in and around the lake maybe 5-10 miles from the lake not completely sure on how far exactly, anyways they cannot set up shop on the shoreline and suck it all out, there are laws in place against this.

So, they tap into the fresh water aquafirs that are supposed to feed the lakes to replenish it's water levels each spring and are sucking them dry and selling it for a profit at the lakes expense. Corporate greed will ultimately kill millions if not billions of people.

This is what I'm thinking, this, the erosion of the St. Clair river, and one other thing, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks.. Continue.

Barack Obama is keeping his promise to lower the sea levels, and he’s starting with the drought plagued Midwest where Lake Michigan water is being shipped by the boat loads over to China! By using a little known loophole in the 2006 Great Lakes Compact, Obama minions are allowing Nestle Company to export precious fresh water out of Lake Michigan to the tune of an estimated $500,000 to $1.8 million per day profit. By draining the precious jewel of the Great Lakes in the middle of America, our federal water managers are allowing the export of our water out of our country across thousands of miles of oceans into the Asian basin plagued by huge population centers who are suffering from their constant lack of fresh water. How’s that for cutting America down to size?

Funny, you never hear where the $500 Mil a day money ends up do you?

And a warm winter is depleting the supply faster than not. Crops need precipitation in the form of snow to add to the lakes levels.

Have you checked precipitation records this year? If there is less rain that the year(s) before, then the water level goes down.

Or are precipitation levels down because water levels are down?

Hence initial question.

Basically, should we destroy Nestlé?

An American corporation that supports x jobs, but the Zmichigan fishing industry supports more jobs, and yet more jobs via subsiquent tourism.

Nestle/Pepsi who have a very similar logo to Obama may be taking quite a lot of water. Also has anyone checked to see if there are reverse well? I know of 3 in Florida that pump water OUT of lakes.

Is there intent to create water wars/control?
