Saw a number of news stories about it.The drought of the last few years has caught up with us and while food will be available it will continue to get more and more expensive throughout this year.Stock up on anything thats still at a reasonable price that can help cut your food costs later.

At the end of this month we have spring vacation. On average it lasts for two weeks but most people are off of work for around a month.

During this time everyone goes back to their home town to spend the time with their family. Most businesses close for at least a week.

To make sure there are enough supplies for this down period we stock up.

Don't take it personal. People make fun of Americans all the time. We take it like water off a duck.

Back when people were truly intelligent and had abundant common sense, they noticed that weather cycles run in 14 year cycles. From growing abundance to feast in crops, back to less yeild to bad crops, and then it begins again.

The common sense rule of thumb for peoples who can afford to do it is to store 7 years worth of grain. The Chinese are quite intelligent and have abundant common sense. they are using their prosperity to protect their people in the lean years.

Too bad those in our government and society as a whole are so ignorant and devoid of commmon sense that to have 3 days supply of food is all that will ever be needed. Fools.
