Have the poles already shifted? Record low temps in souther CA and 30 degrees above normal in the Northeast?

The poles have obviously been shifting for several years now. However I too suspect a larger shift has occurred very recently. Nothing solid to back that up mind yah. Just a sneaking suspicion.

Is the top of the moon supposed to go dark, or just the sides? Anyone else notice that New year's eve?

yup, a few days every January it get this cold in Vegas. if this was the end of February it would be strange.

17 deg. here in Iowa with the wind chill it feels like 9. A little early for these cold temps.

Our furnace has been running almost non-stop. As soon as it kicks out, the cold settles in quickly & its usually back on in about 10 min. (our house was built in 1870)

the moon tonight was a crescent sliver, but only the very bottom was illuminated, that can't be right. I don't ever remember seeing that before.

It's the new moon (first sliver), it always looks like that when its the first day of the new biblical month.
