Scan craigslist for people just wanting to get rid of scrap metal, pick it up & take it to the junkyard.

Shovel snow from side walks, driveways, etc.

Offer to help with remodeling projects around the house for other people.

There are opportunities out there, just need to hunt a bit.

are you high, i wasnt asking for job searching tips, i was asking for tips on making money by finding treasures by using a metal dectector!

I've spent quite a number of hours with my WHITES metal detector.

Dont get your hopes up there is NOT a lot of anything but bottle caps, old pull tabs, gum wrappers, beer cans, washers, screws, broken tools, etc.. burried just about everywhere you look.

Occasionally you can find a coin or somthing interesting, or perhaps an iron core meterorite.

A tedious HOBBY at best, but I can think of a lot worse things to spend your time on.

Metal detecting on a beach can result in some minor finds.

I have detector and dig up about 500 bucks a month...I mostly beach it but sometimes scan public parks

Its a bit of a long shot a lot of wasted time for little money

Think about the beach for example during a hot summer at populated beaches you would indeed find coins.
But think of winter hardly anyone goes to the beach you would find nothing.

Meteor men style and use that size on the beach on Sunday night, Monday Morning stripped clean and yo move to other spots crowds gather. In the off season do that as part of the park maintenance and restocking for the next season.

A Friend of my is doing this on the Beach in the Summer-Season
and he is doing this since Years and is Travelling a lot!

It works but is also tough work,
but you need good Equipment!

We made over $400 in 2 truck loads by hauling scrap to the junk yard.

IF you are TRULY broke, then you won't be picky.
