Are You A Good Person?

I'm not really a good person, no.

yes I am definitely a good person

I've tried all my life to be a "good" person and a "nice" person until the last couple of weeks. Now I've decided, you know what, don't care anymore whether people think I'm nice. Don't care anymore about trying to be good. It's gotten me nowhere so now I'm just going to say what I think, do what I want and I just don't CARE if it's good/bad/indifferent or what others think of it.

think about the balance, the yin-yan, the chi, whatever it is called, its all the same.

there is no luck without unluck, no fun without unfun, no love without hate.

once you understood that, you see you cannot do anything to affect it.

you are as you are.

I think the test or goal Lisa, is to try to be.
We are all a mix of many things, no one is perfect.

Wow! That first video is a bit hard to take, yet like anything anyone can glean that which they want from any writings.

One first needs ask, why would a God create a man animal that was a despicable creature and name him so with no hope of redemption. Seems like a pointless exercise.

I hold faith in some teachings myself, knowing I have never set out to intentionally do "evil".

I also hold faith in earlier teachings such as that of Anubis, who holds the scales. I believe all are redeemable. weather or not they seek to be good is another question entirely.

Sadly it is far easier to believe there is no God that to works towards enlightenment and good works, and redemption.

Yes, that would be pointless. But God had a plan to redeem us from the beginning.

I think I am...more than once I've had this urge to feed my friends in the Basement. But they are so ungrateful, I really get annoyed sometimes...does this make me a bad person?

I can understand and minutely relate to your disbelief and confusion. I have experienced the living water, the tree is far from dead. I hope that you experience the living water as it is truly mind-blowing.
