Yes, but the no:1 loyalty is to the brotherhood.

There is no definitive leader or lodge which can answer
the ambiguities, set the record straight, so consistency
is missing, and these variations occur between lodges.
 Quoting: K.Kool

What you say is true.

Now allow me to explain why.

Freemasonry is about just that, being free.

There is a basic outline for which all lodges must follow, but that is to have a foundation upon which to build something universal.

It is very basic, and I will reveal it all right here, for the secrets are not what you think.

First of all, it only takes 3 Master Masons to establish a lodge.

Why?

Because spiritually, we are unique. When you force people to congregate as one, it leads to suppression of the spirit.

Thus, in Freemasonry, rather than be stuck with a group of people you genuinely do not get along with, 3 or more can establish their own lodge.

Now each Lodge is sub-serviant to it's Grand Lodge.

For most places, the Grand Lodge is the country of origin.

However, in America, the Grand Lodge is at the State Level.

Each State Grand Lodge is Sovereign.

This means absolutely that. It answers to no one.

That is the full limit of the power.

In each Lodge, the leadership is elected annually.

The whole purpose of the Brotherhood is one thing, charity.

Really, that is all it is.

Religion is not discussed.

Only the community is discussed and how these men can help it.

That's all, I swear.

Now, I do have things against the Fraternity.

They do not allow women nor recognise lodges that do in the US.

This is a big error on their part.

In the beginning God created MAN.

Therefore, women even fit the eligibility.

What you obligate yourself to do in Freemasonry is nothing more than you would do for a Brother if you truly loved him.
