They just teach that you do charity quietly, for the sake of charity.

Anyone can join.

All you have to do is ask.

When I was Master of the Lodge,

11 of us active members raised enough money to award 4 scholarships of $2000.00 each to local students.

Education is a prime undertaking in Freemasonry.

The first degree is focused on subduing ones passions and learning self control.

The second degree teaches one to pursue an in depth education, particularly the liberal arts and sciences.

The third degree focuses on the three attributes of friendship, morality, and brotherly love.

It also emphasizes Geometry. For it is by geometry that we can get a better appreciation for the precise arrangement of the Universe, as a testament to the awesome power of that Almighty Creator, however you have come to know it.
