They are all standing around the car for hours, not knowing if there is a dead body in the trunk. Could be a bomb. I wonder if they evacuated 456 children right past this car. ????? They don't open the trunk until it's dark. Hours later, and it's live on tv. [ link to i47.tinypic.com] You've correctly identified one of the many problematic aspects of this story.
