Fine, fake a photo of the fucking moon, get in a time machine, publish it in a book 20 years ago, and then take a video of the book you published 20 years ago and make sure I can find it in a library myself and verify you published it 20 years ago if I so choose.

I'm willing to bet you don't have a fucking time machine.

By that logic there's no reason to assume it's real.
 Quoting: aliensbro

You don't get it, it IS evidence, in order for you to disregard it you must have a LOGICAL reason to do so, or you're not being rational. The burden of proof is on YOU to prove that it's fake. Same as the amateur image which you also ignore. You don't get to assume everything is fake just because it disagrees with your beliefs. I assume things that disagree with my beliefs are real until I prove they're fake, hence the whole point of debunking things like this. I assumed the claim was true, I went out and found pictures like this one that show it is not.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

I do have a logical reason to do so. I disregard it because i'm in an argument with someone who would be helped by the contents of the picture.
 Quoting: aliensbro

Holy shit, that is not a logical reason, but that is a transparent revealing of your fucking bias.
I can fake a thousand photos of any type of event you want so I don't see how your holding this as intangible proof.

I damn sure don't understand your want to continue in an argument with someone you deemed fucking stupid.

Because statements such as this "I disregard it because i'm in an argument with someone who would be helped by the contents of the picture" are incredibly telling, useful, and revealing. I would do this 20x over just to get a statement like that out of you. I'm not doing this for your benefit, that's for damn sure.
One would This argument is just so fucking stupid and we got to this point because you wanted to be right about small points in your arguments. Like the visibility of a launch pad.. lmao.
 Quoting: bro

You know, rather than obsess about trying to prove me wrong on "small points" in my arguments where I'm clearly right, maybe you should shut up and start learning from me instead. You won't of course, but the amazingly revealing statements you make are worth it anwyay.

Arguing the point that you couldn't prove any of the things you had said. Any still haven't.. Still not seeing where i'm wrong here lol
 Quoting: aliensbro

I proved the things I said already. Just because you automatically reject any evidence that disagrees with you means nothing.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

HOW IS A PICTURE PROOF? Can you hold it up and say, there is NO WAY that i'm coming to any other conclusion than the right one, based on the fact that there is NO WAY someone could've doctored this evidence. If you can't, then you haven't proven anything. And you most certainly are not able to do this with your argument
 Quoting: aliensbro

There is NO logical reason to assume fakery of a photo taken 40 years ago, published in a book 20 years ago, when this phenomenon is supposedly new to within the last decade. If it didn't happen back then, there is no logical reason to assume they would fake a photo to make the moon look normal in a horizontal position if it really wasn't a normal position for the moon to be in. It's up to you to prove they faked it, or accept it, your choice. There is no logical alternative. Even worse for you, I also showed you an amateur photo published over 20 years ago as well. So now you can't even make ad hominem appeals to "NASA" as being untrustworthy.

Oh god astro.. You are literally just too stupid to argue with. Who are you to tell me what a logical reason for me to do something is? Maybe when you own a courtroom, and have some kind of authority, you can force people to adhere to your unusual standards of what is considered factual evidence, but around here we don't take handouts from the same people who lie to us every other day when it benefits our argument. If you consider nasa or that amateur astronomer to be a factual and credible, and convincable source of information for you to base your belief in feel free to do so, but please do not ask that I lower myself to this level of stupidity.

An observation is not debunkable..
In cases such as the moon being off, the tilt being
off, etc.. lacking access to historical data and
modern measurement techniques, and the know
how to use them.. the average, casual observer must depend on the experts.

A true expert does not get emotional or irritated.
He will state his case, provide empirical evidence, substantiation and possibly peer references..

Something is wrong when the mere statement of observation garners such vitriol and insult.

Moon visibility is also affected by Parallax. It means, that in different latitudes, Moon will look differently. Parallax is counted, assuming, that Earth is round sphere. But what is strange, the same day OP posted it, here, where I am, was cloudy, but possible to see something. There was no Moon at all. And we are more or less on same latitude.

Feel free to go kill as many of your few remaining brain cells as you like. In case you didn't notice (there's a little microphone icon in front of the thread title) I've had such a good time disproving this bullshit I even made a voice chat room for this thread.

Lol prove any of the things you have said astro it's not hard for all to see you can not. SHILL=DEAD Astro can eat a bag of dicks i'm so done with this thread.
 Quoting: aliensbro

You're an effing troll, and everybody knows it.

I don't want a copy as it serves no purpose.. it's digital imagery astro. When are you gonna realize pictures are not proof? That's like saying obviously tom cruise is ascended.. he was in war of the worlds.
 Quoting: aliensbro

Yet you are completely credulous of the letters on your digital screen when they are signed Waterbug (who, for all we know might just be a spambot).

No one ever said that they did astro.
 Quoting: aliensbro

You just spent the last ten minutes arguing with me as if they could have. You're a fucking moron.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Arguing the point that you couldn't prove any of the things you had said. Any still haven't.. Still not seeing where i'm wrong here lol

Take your dick out of astro for a second and put a condom on, he's fuckin dirty. Your so far up his ass I doubt you even know what this thread is about anymore. And the prick still hasn't stated a single provable fact. Sheep.

Re: Moon totally on it's side right now
Carving a post into elements in an attempt to
refute the whole, doesn't diminish the
original... to someone with discernment.

The karma tells the tale.

As the bard would have said..

'The lady doth protest too much, methinks..'
 Quoting: Waterbug

Point by point..

- not a conclusion.. an example to illustrate a point

- the average person wouldn't know where to
find nor correlate historic moon position information and data covering a span of time

- who among the average Joes has access to precise time measurements
and lasers, etc. to measure celestial bodies..
and the expertise to apply them in comparison to historic data
that may or may not even exist?

- I never said that I could or couldn't do it..
I'm talking about the average Joe.
And who are the us that you speak of..?

- I don't do 'parties'.

- Experts don't frequent conspiracy forums to demean
those who aren't specialists in their particular discipline.
If they do.. I suspect they are flawed in character.

Classifying it as "off" is a conclusion, not an observation.

Well that may well be beyond your personal capacity, but you don't speak for the rest of us.

 Quoting: waterbug

Here's an idea, go to an amateur astronomer star party and ask them if it's "off." Do it, I dare you.

No true scotsman fallacy.

No they don't. He's an amateur keyboard astronomer with a GLP following. In other words a fucking loser, who cites his own credibility and sits on conspiracy sites all day debunking an issue he deems "fucking stupid". Your no expert, your a fucking shill astro. His pedestal needs to be demolished. And his followers need a new leader.

Re: Moon totally on it's side right now
Is the moon still hanging crooked?

Someone needs to climb up there and adjust it.

Sometimes a crow comes along and bumps it, and the cord that runs behind it is not quite centered on the nail.

Re: Moon totally on it's side right now
Moon visibility is also affected by Parallax. It means, that in different latitudes, Moon will look differently. Parallax is counted, assuming, that Earth is round sphere. But what is strange, the same day OP posted it, here, where I am, was cloudy, but possible to see something. There was no Moon at all. And we are more or less on same latitude.
Also notice, all images of Earth from cosmos is copyrighted by NASA.
Moon in his movement has many anomalies, but this is too much.
 Quoting: Rxel

Not to mention the only thing anybody wanted to do on this thread is flame me. As if I have some bias to want the moon to be off lmao.. Since the night I posted this thread the moon has been normal every night since. Like I said it's not something that happens every day, so no it's not blatantly noticeable. But there is something wrong with our moon and those with eyes have noticed. Anyone still fronting that it's normal has an aenda.
