It's a sad thing outsiders don't seem to grasp the concept of euthanasia. It's about ending suffering without a chance of improving.

My dad had terminal lungcancer, and did suffer immensely towards the end. We asked for euthanasia, which was denied as my dad just went into comateuse condition. He died a few days later.

A lot of respect for Belgium, and the family of the twins, and the doctors that ended their suffering.
