I wish the clouds would break, for she is directly earth-facing now... anyway, this is what I captured a few days ago --- [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] And this was from #Geomagnetic_Storm# with what he caught with his telescope: Thread: The Sun Through My Solar Telescope She is pretty quite right now: [link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] But still bold, big, huge even - [link to sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov] There is an incoming CME on the 17th from the solar flare a couple days ago. Geomagneticstorm and I will definitely be looking through his Coronado solar telescope today! Is it wrong to admit that we have our fingers crossed for some big flares? heistmeister |

The odds are that your right. A huge x-flare won't pop off. However, it could and so we pay attention. If this spot is not the one, perhaps the next or the one after that etc... When ever something does happen we will be first to know. I have made some decent money in my life betting against the odds. |
