When I was in grammer school in the 60's, because of my family situation, and being an only child, I was very isolated from friends (traveling between a farm in Wisconsin and where I lived in Chicago). SO, when I had a chance to be around other's my age I had a strong urge to be accepted. I acted out and caused trouble a lot. A few of them WERE pretty heavily physically handicapped. I was made fun of and embarrassed. I was just looking for attention. The label stuck with me for quite awhile. I got over it and learned important life lessons from the experience. But living it was HELL. I'm glad they didn't have the meds they push on kids now or I would have been a little zombie. Point is I LEARNED from acting out and being different. I still feel different from everyone (who here doesn't). But my differences helped me to be PROUD of myself for who I am. I'm intensely into art and animals. My two main careers have been the art dept. in the film business (set deign and construction, art director, effects etc) and then what I do now, working with dogs. (I can also build you a house, wire and plumb it, and rebuild the old engines on classic cars and motorcycles) My "differences" shaped my life and made me proud of being able to think for myself instead of letting other's do the thinking for me. TPTB don't like creativity or original thought. "A society of originals is not a society" and that threatens them because we're harder to manipulate and control. And to make money off of. Do you still live in Chicago? If so I do what you do for a living as well! I wonder if we know each other? Are you in local 476?  |

They could learn what interests them. Do we all really need the same math programming? The same science programming? If you can read, you can teach yourself! Could you picture the kind of society we might have if everyone was free from 13 years worth of indoctrination and, in many cases, forced medication? Our schools do not teach, they MODIFY. They STANDARDIZE. And they dumb us down. How long did it take YOU to finally figure out that nothing is as "they" have told us? I'm ashamed to say that it took me nearly 40 years. Now that I know, I'm shocked at how OBVIOUS it is, but that's what years and years of thought control does...it makes us blind and stupid. Well i quit all of my meds completely cold turkey without telling the doctors and i feel better than i ever have. And you're all right about school being a prison... you can't eat, drink water, talk, go to the bathroom or even stand up without the consent of the "teacher," and 9 times out of 10, they say No, even to simply using the bathroom. At my school they have a locked fence around the cafeteria so that nobody can enter or leave. And there are always 2 cops standing in the cafeteria staring people down so they don't "misbehave." All meds do is make kids conform to public schools, and to dumb them down making it easier to tell them what to think, and to not form their own opinions.
