I have seen individuals get the flu vaccine and still get the flu.. Local news in my town has reported on this and I just read this article:

"But an early assessment of how well the vaccine is doing at preventing illness in those who are vaccinated suggests this year's shot reduces one's risk of being infected with influenza A -- in other words H3N2 or H1N1 -- by about 55 per cent and influenza B by 70 per cent. (Those are U.S. estimates; a corresponding Canadian analysis is underway.)
Those figures raise two related questions: Is that the best currently designed flu vaccines can do, even when the strains in the vaccine are closely related to those making people sick? And does the concept of a good match carry as much weight as has been suggested?"

This year's flu is mild compared to the strange happenings surrounding the annual seasonal flu and the swine flu of 2010.

I witnessed adverse reactions to the 2010 seasonal flu vaccine and the swine flu vaccine such as chest pain, burning/tingling in hands/feet, severe headache, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and nausea/vomiting approx. 15 min after administration.

Take these steps to stay healthy:

1) take extra Vitamin C and D

2) wash your hands often with soap and water

3) don't touch your face/eyes/nose during cold/flu season

IMO, the flu vaccine industry is a racket. There are poisonous chemicals in the vaccine and they simply aren't effective. It's not worth the money or the risk to your health.
