The book of Esther is actualy about a future gentile victory over the jew. The jew is represented by the King's wife who refused to come to his banquet(refused Jesus Christ.) The king is God. The king was so mad he divorced her and chose a new wife Esther(gentiles)just as he said he would.

The first wife's family, the jew, hated Esther and her family, the gentiles, and plotted against them. When the King found out he had made the mistake of supporting the jew against his new family, he issued another edict giving them the right to defend themselves against the jew.

The gentiles won.
