Do you have joint problems? I had EDS, my blog is about it. I haven't heard of night sweats being related to it (but you never know its a weird genetic disorder)...I have learned to maintain/eliminate most of the EDS symptoms with proper diet and limited enviornmental exposure to certain things. I am not that familiar with Behcets (don't know how to make the special symbol you made!) so I was wondering if there might be overlapping symptoms. After looking over the wiki page briefly it doesn't look like there are many overlapping symptoms. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30890652 United States 01/14/2013 11:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to have problems with sleep...basically an insomniac, but over the last year I have really worked to maintain a healthy diet and overall lifestyle. I have kept a great sleep cycle 7.5-8 hrs the last 6 months to a year or so and really have been pleased with some of the changes I made to my lifestyle so I could get some better zzzz's. Quoting: MissionInvisible I am not currently sick and don't have ANY other symptoms of something else going on, actually had more energy the last week or so than normal, I use melatonin most nights, and I sleep grounded, but the last week or so I have woken up 5/7 nights and have almost sweated through my sheets every night! Anyone else having problems with their internal thermometers at night!? I feel like I am waking up drenched in sweat about 3-4 am a few nights just in the last week! I know some DNA/lightbody awakening can happen at night, so perhaps this is related to the slight increase in solar activity the last week or so, but I just wanted to check to see if anyone else was having some odd sleep disturbances. No you're right....I had these quite a bit over the last few months...funny thing is, as soon as i cut out sugar before bed (like ANY sort of fruit juice or beverage with sugar) at least a few hours before I went to sleep, I'd be ok. Candy turned my bed into a pool. |

I feel like I am waking up drenched in sweat about 3-4 am a few nights just in the last week! Quoting: MissionInvisible I had never had this problem before, until the last 10 days or so. During that time frame (with the exception of last night, thankfully), I have woken up at 3 or 4, soaked, and unable to go back to sleep. I have no idea what would cause this, and the weirdest part is the consistency; not only from night to night, but also how it coincides with your experience. cosmicgypsy User ID: 31282946 United States 01/14/2013 11:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | MI, I just posted on another thread last nigt asking if anyone was having the additional symptom of heating up right now. I've been hot, without fever or illness, for about three weeks now, with the night sweats you're talking about. I'm 54 and menopausal, but I haven't had a hot flash in over a year, much less have I ever had a three week long one. As, well, this is just not the same as a hot flash. Just like there's a difference between the body heat and reaction to a fever and a hot flash, this heating up I'm talking about has its own characteristics...AND it's coming with some of the other symptoms of cellular rattling, vertigo, etc.. Fevers and hot flashes aren't accompanied with these. Thanks for posting the thread. Happy day to you... You never change things by fighting the existing reality. dglnomore User ID: 26754228 United States 01/14/2013 11:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Have you ever had a tick bite or possibly been exposed to deer ticks? Just an FYI - Lyme disease and/or other tick-borne disease is highly under-diagnosed and misdiagnosed - usually as neurological, autoimmune, and/or chronic fatigue type illnesses. It can remain dormant and hidden in your body for years. Also, they way you are eating and taking care of your body is part of good Lyme disease treatment (along with antibiotics), so you might not be seeing extreme symptoms. The problem is, symptoms can be varied and affect different people in different ways based on their genetics, immune response, where the tick bite was, their age, diet, lifestyle, what strain of babesia they are infected with, what co-infections might be present, etc. It is similar to syphilis in that it is a 'great imitator.' Even if you don't think you have it (and this goes for everyone reading this thread), I would urge you to look into it so that you are informed. The mainstream medical profession has no idea what they are doing with regard to Lyme disease. It is only the integrative/holistic doctors who are successfully diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. There is a lot of evidence that it originated as a bioweapon - it's not easy to treat and there are a lot of very powerful forces trying to keep that covered up and put the Lyme-literate doctors out of practice. |
