One example would be that a self replicating robot could have explored our entire galaxy with relative ease, without even having achieved close to light speed or greater than light speed travel. Depending on ones interpretation of the drake equation, there could only be a handful of intelligent species within our galaxy, and even 75% those might be at pre industrial levels. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 11214802 Canada 01/14/2013 10:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It makes sense we would be top of the shit heap at least in our own galaxy. Whether you believe the galaxy is expanding or contracting our, placement out near the end of a spiral arm makes us one of the oldest star systems in the Milky Way. There is nobody older than we are. It stands to reason that if life develops at the same rate everywhere, and there is no reason to believe it doesn't, any other life form is at best still at the caveman stage right now if they've even crawled out of the oceans yet. |

There are however angels from God who minister to us here and also demonic forces who do the same. Demons can transform themselves into anything and anyone to deceive the Bible makes that clear. However if you are versed in scripture you won't be deceived by all the foolishness about to break on this world |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 21666560 United States 01/14/2013 10:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Unfortunately, UFOs do not exist in the way you think they do. Quoting: Cartman2012 Granted, we always see UFOs but in the end they are ALL terrestrial based. Just like any other country, they are testing new air crafts or spy planes. Nothing more. I don't want to say we are the "center" of the universe but I can assure you we are alone. I am sure bacteria exists out there just like it does here if you want to consider that alien but I am 100% sure that intelligent species do not exist out there and are not visiting us. You have been fed lies by the hollywood movies and I am certain if they did exist they would have made contact with us by now and no government could stand in the way. We are the max peaks for Humans and your denial is just you wanting to hear what you want.. ALIENS/GREYS/ANNUNAKIS or whatever the hell you want to call them do not exist... I like how you'd provided nothing but your pure speculation, yet have the nerve to say "your denial is just you wanting to hear what you want." |

Quoting: Cartman2012 BTW single celled life does exist. It exists on our moon. Apollo 17 astronauts Cernan and Schmidt both had allergic reactions to the lunar soil when they exposed themselves to it after their moonwalks. The both got snotty noses from it. It is a fact that dirt and dust allergies are not caused by the inorganic chips of rock. They are caused by living or once living organisms in the soil, like bacteria, pollen, spores, molds, fungus etc. It's a fact there was something that at some point was alive in the soil at the Apollo 17 landing site. NASA just never talks about it and pretends it never existed. |

That's including most mammals, some birds and whales. We cannot be alone..it's too big for us not to be... Will we ever meet half of the other lifeforms in the universe.. Very unlikely.. But it's pretty fucking ignorant and narcissistic of us to think we are alone. We are not gods..We are not all knowing.. Fuck we don't even know where we came from.. Evolution only kind of explains part of it..Something happened to us so we ended up being big headed, relatively hairless and destructive is beyond me. ** To boldly go ** |

[link to www.ufocom.eu] [link to vejprty.com] [link to members.tripod.com] As with anything, lots of opinions. My take on life is that it all eventually ends up in the same place. Some bacteria from here gets somewhere else via our space junk. I believe, even in a different environment, that life would progress and modify the environment in order to attain much the same varied degrees of advancement in biological function and thus much the same range of physical appearances. There is but one Seed of Life. Whether those helicopter glyphs represent a visual mythology of the Egyptians or a physical encounter with life using such craft/machines doesn't matter - the source of both is the same. We know we are not alone. There is life elsewhere. Eventually, we will also be elsewhere whether we go there or just wait for enough time to go by. I'm not sure yet if I believe this planet to be the source of the most evolved life. One way or another, we either evolved somewhere else and planted the Seed on this planet or we started here, left, and are currently watching ourselves, waiting to see if something different happens. Maybe we are the pinnacle and just got bored of being physical beings living a spiritual existence on the other side and someone dark and powerful enough wanted to flip out. Last mew for me today. Another day I'll've the time to quid pro quo, bro :) j/k, no bro :3 You had to tell me once and that's enough for me. |

Along with the other crafts we have yet to currently see in the mainstream. They cared enough to carve it into stone, so that says something. Depending on ones interpretation of the drake equation, there could only be a handful of intelligent species within our galaxy, and even 75% those might be at pre industrial levels. There's no way any drone could have explored the entire galaxy by now. It's physically impossible to break the light speed barrier, so that poses a problem. There's also hundreds of billions of stars within a volume of around 7,850,000,000,000 ly cubed (Pi X 50,000 squared (radius of galaxy) X 1,000 (height of galaxy)). Then you have to consider that in order to determine if any planet has intelligent life, the probe would have to visit each individual planet and moon system of say, a possible 1,000,000,000 stars with planets. Conservatively, that's 2,000,000,000 planets to explore. Traveling as close to the speed of light as possible, stars are light years away from one another. Our closest is 4.2 light years away. The math just doesn't work out, and neither does the Fermi paradox for such guesses. Say a probe found intelligent life on Earth 400 years ago. The probe came from a star system 1,000 light years away. The message which was sent 400 years ago back home, wouldn't even reach home for another 600 years. Then the civilization would have to send another message back, taking another 1,000 years to travel to us. There are many many possible solutions to the Fermi paradox. There's no math to support it, it's just a supposition. Math shows that it's entirely possible to have not been contacted at all. Especially since we've only been a "loud" planet for a little over 100 years. |
