One of the very young ladies (13yo) here bagged the largest cow Elk I've ever seen and the old girl didn't have a tooth in her head, she would have been gone this winter.

We've had the smoke house running lately after butchering a fairly large hog (+- 750lbs), half the Elk, a crap load of geese and some rabbit. Luckily I don't have to keep it running now that we have more personnel.

Been colder than a witches titty and lots of snow for this early in the year how's your weather?

It's been warmer than usual here. It's been in the 80s for a week. where it's usually right about 70 degrees during the day, this time of year.

I was talking to an old friend out in Castle Rock yesterday and he said it was -2 when he got up! I don't miss that!!!

I haven't seen any pythons or constrictors here, myself, but they do turn up now and then. Most of them are farther South from me, down in the Everglades.

I did see a 13 foot gator on my last hunting trip, that some idiot had just shot and left to rot on the river bank. What a waste!!

That's pretty much exactly what my hunting buddy was doing, but he was standing 20 feet behind me with his shirt pulled up over his face!

I got up close, just cuz I wanted to check out the bullet wound. I couldn't tell what they hit him with, but it was a damn good shot, almost perfect right into his little walnut sized brain. It went in from the front, just a bit off to the right from dead center between the eyes, and it looked the whole brain just exploded out of the top of his head leaving about a 2.5 inch crater.

I got a big laugh that AARP was on the list since the majority of Concealed Weapon permits here in Florida are for age 50+, which is the AARP age limit. I guess most of those AARP members here in the "retirement" State only care about AARP for the discounts at restaurants, LOL.
