HOLY FUCK: Jodie Foster Tells It - Privacy, Society, the World - A New Era | |
rainlover User ID: 30390304 United States 01/14/2013 07:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wow... Quoting: Mister Obvious Thanks for all your responses. I could have never imagined so many people agreeing in so many different ways that there's definitely something up here. If anyone finds any similar elements, please post them here. Hey OP, my prior post was all jumbled so let me rephrase it since The Guardian material is banned here. Simply go to The Guardian's website and type in Steven Soderbergh's movie called Behind the Candelabra. He clearly states that Hollywood canceled the movie for being "scared" by the "too gay" theme. When Jodie started talking, it's like people instantly clammed up. And, did you SEE how mad Tommy Lee Jones was at the mocking of Meryl Streep's mocking by Farrell and Wiig? He looked so pissed off. Where's Tom Cruise when you need him???? LOL. |

Most everyone knew you were gay from way back in the '70's! Didn't change a thing for most of your fans. We knew, we didn't care. You were still a damn fine actor! Agree...listening to most of that was painful. She sounds nuts. Arn't we all a bit nuts right about now? I know I am. duncog2012 |

Quoting: JustCinnamon I never watched the show, so I can't really say what the vibe was of the evening. But now, you've scared me. o O O I saw about 10 or 15 seconds of a closeup of Tommy Lee ( I was flipping thru channels) and everyone was laughing at the comedy on stage, but I swear, he looked like he was ready to slug somebody. |

Anonymous Coward 01/14/2013 07:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think it has to do with an oncoming breakdown of society. Basically, there is a change of hands... in managing the country, and the world... it will be the best of times, and the worst of times, as every other time has been... a very different time approaching though, a lot of people will remember the way the world was before it... thus Foster's "I will continue to tell stories." |
ruser User ID: 2275761 United States 01/14/2013 07:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I read somewhere that Natalie Portman is "awake." I believe Jodi is awake also. I am sure working on the movie "Contact" had some effect on her. I think she's a GLP 'r too. No wonder she's lonely since she's afraid to reveal her secret GLP addiction. I can relate! ruser |

Quoting: Shellbe Don't think so. It was not just her it was all of them. I am 62 and have watched these people forever. I enjoy good acting and Foster is a great actress. But the entire event seemed more like a funeral than an award ceremony and they all seemed very unhappy and stressed out. They are some of the most creative, best connected, wealthiest people in the world and they were broadcasting by their demeanor that SOMETHING IS UP AND IT IS NOT GOOD. duncog2012 |

Values her privacy. She hoped her mother (inside those blue eyes somewhere) would hear hear that she loved her and could let go when she felt ready. She is gay but came out back in the stone ages. Thanks Cindy her co-parent and their children in their modern family. Thanks Mel Gibson for saving her. Miss anything? |

Kristen Wiig and Will Farrell were being their normal goofy selves. However, when they were mocking Meryl Streep, Jones was NOT amused. I was like, chill dude, they are mocking everyone. However, he looked pissed as hell. You could cut the tension with a knife last night...at least that's what it appeared to be. |

I was surprised to see him. The first thing that came to me was what was Hillary's husband doing there? The whole Bengazi thing is so shocking...it is like some Hollywood movie, and possibly that is too close for comfort for Hollywood. I mean to know what we know now...maybe Hollywood is in shock...as I have been. I mean at one time I had respect for Hillary and Bill, but, now...not so much. Maybe... |

Okay, let's discuss this "Mel Gibson" thing. He was adored for a very long time. Then HATED for a very long time. Then, The Princess of the Big Screen thanks him for "saving her"? Could that be, just maybe, that he helped her with a Jesus experience? Maybe that's what made them look all aghast...Satan was mocked and shunned. Okay, discuss. :-) |

Quoting: Shellbe Yeah, that's a more in-depth way of interpreting the "What They Want You To Believe" version. However... She and this woman have been together for a great portion of both their lives, and I'm thinking they're a little bit above this 'tizzy'. Foster was busy, talking deep shit... and when she did give reference to her partner, it was completely positive. Especially considering her words about privacy... I'm pretty sure she was talking about way more than her private life and anything that may be going with it. |

Jodie foster also said after the show that she had no intention of quitting the biz. Costner might quit because he doesn't fit in with the weird stupid fucks in Hollywood these days, guy's like Eastwood, Costner and Tommy lee Jones do not go along with their over the top liberal beliefs, so they get slowly ousted. Yeah too much is being read into this shit! |

Probly over the years of being under the microscope like you've said and a couple drinks in her. |

But the focus on Mel and the discussions About him here back up my theory... One of the main purposes if this was for people to reconize Mel... Why? A lot of words being tossed back and forth these days... One of them being Patriot... See where I am going with this? _______________________ |
