I watched that, too, and thought, there is something going on here that is above our heads.

I think it's worth mentioning here, in case anyone cares. If you do some research, OP and others on this thread, then you'll see that Hollywood IS scared. I first noticed this last week with this article:

(I cannot post the link, but good the guardian.co.uk and find the inteview with Steven Soderbergh and Behind the Candelabra movie.

In it, Soderbergh actually says, "They were scared" (meaning the studios) about marketing a "gay" film.

I am puzzled by Mel Gibson's "look." He looked petrified. It's almost as if she has all the goods on them...I don't know. It was definitely weird.
