Tragedy struck Jodie during her Freshman year when a crazed and obsessed fan name John Hinckley shot President Ronald Reagan to impress her.
We all know the Hinckley's and the Bushes were good friends. Perhaps, TPTB were trying to ruin her acting career before it ever got started. But it did not work.
