taxing by the mile makes it very attractive to investors when they sell these roads to private industry. That would make every road in the U.S. a toll road. We bought and paid for those roads and now they want to sell "our" roads to people that will milk us for every dime?

It's not mentioned in this article, but another that I read earlier today quoted a preliminary number of 47 cents per mile. Figure it up, $94 dollars tax(not counting cost of fuel) to drive a couple hundred miles to be with the family at Christmas. When will the American people say enough is enough?
