I still don't understand why people get these shots. Do they really believe our government officials and the pharmaceutical industries care about us being healthy?? I mean that's ludicrous to even think that way. So why then are they pushing these flu shots on everyone??

I haven't had a flu shot since I was a kid, and of course I haven't had the flu since then either. My mom has been sick the past week and I thought she didn't receive the flu shot, so I was questioning my theory of people getting more sick from the shot than the actual virus going around. But then today my brother let me know that he took her to the doctor a week ago to get the flu shot. I could have strangled him through the phone.

Ya know I've tried talking to a few friends about not getting the flu shot. They wont even discuss it or look into it and treat me like I'm some sort of nutjob.

If someone were to tell me that something I was considering putting into my body (or my children's) was potentially hazardous I would at least feel compelled to look into it.
