13 year old "autistic" boy says errors in the Big Bang theory. Love this stuff! | |

PENG (OP) User ID: 1159762 United States 01/14/2013 10:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | BBT is just that, a theory, we don't exactly know what happened or how and sometimes we make up crap (Dark Energy) to help show how that particular theory works, i think the idea of the big bang theory, everything starting out as super hot, dense, energy is correct, but some of the more fine details we have no way of figuring out in our current state. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1489944 Math can help, a genius at math such as this kid is a welcomed addition to the group of people that strive to answer these types of questions but if there is one thing I've learned from reading all of these M - Theory books, loop quantum gravity books, Hyperspace, and so on, its that Space is chaotic, and pure numbers is not always going to give the definite answer. Chaos yes. What do you think about coming from nothing? The BBT starts with this..."nothing", and then says, "and with just the correct temperature..." .... does't that statement itself negate "nothing" theory? Because temperature comes from something. That's the stuff I don't understand. Matter can come from nothing. I've read a couple books, and watched some documentaries, but it just starts to hurt my head. So you don't believe in dark energy? (First edition 1992, latest edition 2012)He carefully takes apart the arguments supporting the theory, showing that when parameters are adjusted to make one part of it fit the data, the other parts don't fit. Look it up on Amazon.com. Did the "autistic boy" read this book? |

"At age nine, while playing with shapes, Jacob built a series of mathematical models that expanded Einstein’s field of relativity. A professor at Princeton reviewed his work and confirmed that it was groundbreaking and could someday result in a Nobel Prize. At age 10, Jacob was formally accepted to the University as a full-time college student and went straight into a paid research position in the field of condensed matter physics. For his original work in this field, Jacob set a record, becoming the world’s youngest astrophysics researcher. His paper was subsequently accepted for publication by Physical Review A, a scientific journal shared on sites such as NASA, the Smithsonian, and Harvard’s webpage. Quoting: CalmShock We should get him on GLP so he can finally solve the "6/2 (1+2)" thread... IT'S 9 YOU IDIOTS!!! It's 1 idiot You're braindead. You still do the equation left to right, so 6/2 is 3, THEN you do the brackets which is also 3, then you multiply 3 by 3. It's 9 retard. [link to www.mathway.com] It is 1 PEMDAS or BEMDAS meaning bracket first, that would be 6/2 (1+2) = 6/2 (3) then MDAS - multiplication, division, addition, subtraction. 6/2 (3) = 6/6 = 1 Sorry, but the 2 and 3 would have to be enclosed in the same brackets to indicate they both are in the denominator. If one does not bracket them, math rules says the 3 is in the numerator. Nice try though. |

PENG (OP) User ID: 1159762 United States 01/15/2013 12:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You are welcome :) Ya know, my cousin is a psychologist who works with high functioning "autistic" kids. In her early internship she called me really upset and said thank God i was Patch's mom. I, personally, never felt I was doing something special for him. She sees so many of these children misunderstood and neglected to a point, pushed thru the system of useless special education, and conformed to a high IQ with limited abilities. Just like Jacob talks about in the video. These kids don't understand the "normal" world. Their perspective comes from a different plane. They will never conform to our world. We must step into theirs. We have to parent accordingly. There isn't much empathy for these children because people don't understand them. I'm not a patient person, and I'm type A, so it has taken great love and intuition, empathy and knowledge to raise him. I hate the label. These HF kids are fascinating and could contribute tremendously to this world, if it weren't for the negativity associated with that word. He may be a math genius (I have no idea), but his ego and extreme focus on his own concepts makes me highly skeptical of his still unrevealed "revelations." He is too invested in himself to be revolutionary. |
