His IQ is higher than Einsteins, he scored a 170 in Math (the highest one can score), and is "autistic."

He learned all of high school math in 2 weeks. This stuff is just cool.

"At age nine, while playing with shapes, Jacob built a series of mathematical models that expanded Einstein’s field of relativity. A professor at Princeton reviewed his work and confirmed that it was groundbreaking and could someday result in a Nobel Prize. At age 10, Jacob was formally accepted to the University as a full-time college student and went straight into a paid research position in the field of condensed matter physics. For his original work in this field, Jacob set a record, becoming the world’s youngest astrophysics researcher. His paper was subsequently accepted for publication by Physical Review A, a scientific journal shared on sites such as NASA, the Smithsonian, and Harvard’s webpage. Jacob’s work aims to help improve the way light travels in technology."

If children weren't busy being "educated" by our school systems, maybe making groundbreaking discoveries by age nine wouldn't be so rare...

Be that as it may, it's an incredible story 5*!

LOL
???

It's interesting, they (scientists) are giving him props on the math, yet say he needs to learn more about the field to which he is applying his methodology, and make contributions before throwing out a theory. As they follow up with estimates are constantly refined based on logic, understanding, observational data. So I guess the BBT is open for error. Interesting that some are saying the theory about carbon is being overlooked.

Aspergers kids are for the most part, pragmatic thinkers. So in this case it's good because he isn't invested emotionally, one way or another.

Re: 13 year old "autistic" boy says errors in the Big Bang theory. Love this stuff!
BBT is just that, a theory, we don't exactly know what happened or how and sometimes we make up crap (Dark Energy) to help show how that particular theory works, i think the idea of the big bang theory, everything starting out as super hot, dense, energy is correct, but some of the more fine details we have no way of figuring out in our current state.

Math can help, a genius at math such as this kid is a welcomed addition to the group of people that strive to answer these types of questions but if there is one thing I've learned from reading all of these M - Theory books, loop quantum gravity books, Hyperspace, and so on, its that Space is chaotic, and pure numbers is not always going to give the definite answer.

You're braindead. You still do the equation left to right, so 6/2 is 3, THEN you do the brackets which is also 3, then you multiply 3 by 3.

It's 9 retard.

It is 1

PEMDAS or BEMDAS meaning bracket first,

that would be 6/2 (1+2) = 6/2 (3)

then MDAS - multiplication, division, addition, subtraction.

6/2 (3) = 6/6 = 1
