Given the way other shootings, or "attempted" shootings have been ended by good upstanding citizens with their own firearms, it is my belief that this tragedy could have been prevented by a competent sane adult with a firearm being in the vicinity.

As such, I find the government's attempt to pass stricter gun laws to be "insensitive" in light of the recent tragedy.
