What if it doesn't show symptoms till next month and its too late for the vaccine to work? Is it worth dying over? |

OP User ID: 1094 United States 02/13/2006 08:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks Keeper. The vet said 10 days. So there you have it. Its either 10 days, 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years. It is really refreshing to have a choice these days. Given the invarably fatal prognosis any pet that has ever been out of your sight for 5 minutes could be a ticking time bomb. Guess thats why they invented the vaccine. Seems the only intelligent choice is A.)get the damn shots or B.)get rid of the pets. Everything else is Russian Roulette. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 3160 United States 02/13/2006 09:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Get a big dog crate and quarantine the cat for the waiting period. There'll be room in the dog crate for a litter box and a food and water dish and room for the cat to lie down and sleep. That's what I do when I adopt a new outdoor kitten while waiting for the vet appointment so it can't pass on illnesses to the other pets. |
