Ah. When I get sad I get despondent. What about going outdoors for a while. Go for a long walk and shake it off. Nothing worse than staying indoors and pitying your circumstances. You may not be, of course. I went through some hard time the last few years, and one realization that I made that changed me in a big way, was to recognize that i was pitying myself. The ego pushes that idea away, so sometimes it is difficult to admit.
