Classes at Colleyville Heritage High were dismissed as scheduled just before 4 p.m.

At 2:54 pm we made the decision to place the school in lockdown as a safety precaution. A student reported additional information concerning the anonymous threat that was found at lunch. Police are continuing to investigate, I will keep you updated.

Update at 4 p.m.:

Classes at Colleyville Heritage High were dismissed as scheduled just before 4 p.m.

The note reportedly warned of a “large massacre shooting” to be carried out at the school.

It said three students made a list of the “popular and rich kids” they planned to target at the school.

Don't worry about it. In less than a month they'll have rolled TSA into all the schools and everyones kids will be safe.

The WORST thing that ever happened around here was that Santa shooting last year when the guy took out his wife and family.

I don't have kids in high school but this morning all they were talking about on WBAP radio was the snow, crashes, traffic jams, flight delays and how most schools would be starting late and private schools were going to be closed. I bet half the kids didn't go to school anyway because of the ice and snow.
