Guns cause more murders and suicides every year than all other forms of intentional death combined. More guns = more murder. It's a statistical fact. The more guns you have, the more gun crimes you're going to get. Less guns = less crime, it's just that simple.

Why do people even "need" guns anymore? They don't. We live in the modern age, so you don't need to hunt. Just get a job and buy food at the store, you fucking rednecks.

Oh, don't even bother saying that guns are good for "self-defense" as that's a load of horse shit. Per year, there are almost NO confirmed instances of guns being used in self-defense situations. You're more likely to hit the lottery than you are to even come close to defending yourself with a gun. In fact, you're more likely to accidentally shoot yourself in the head while attempting to thwart a criminal than you are to shoot the criminal themselves.

Owning a gun is basically the most irresponsible thing you can do in your life. You put everyone around you at an increased level of risk for gun crime, and you also make yourself more likely to go to prison for a gun crime and also make yourself more likely to commit suicide.

Responsible citizens don't need - and don't own - guns. Let's grow up, people, and leave civilian gun ownership in the past where it belongs.
