Of course there will be no real recovery. That can only occur through savings and capital investment which is nearly illegal now. If you aren't borrowing a $hitload of money, you are a terrorist. |

The fed has had its prime rate at near 0% for 4-5 years running, that is unprecedented in the world's history. Buckey has been a pure credit instrument since 1971 and guess what? There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit (debt) expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit (debt) expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - L. The Dow will go to 20,000 again and higher. But that recovery won't include you. The jobs will never come back, just like the didn't in England after the early 80's recession when all their factories and shipyards closed. There is a whole generation of Englishmen now in their 40's who have never had a job. They lie around at home all day on their mother's couch in their underwear eating crisps, drinking beer and watching ther telle. That's what you can expect when the Dow goes back to 20,000 and the depression is declared officaly over. . |
