Anderson Cooper & Barack Obama were both talking about the owl painting today. Barack Obama said the painting has been hung in his study.

I saw where someone was talking about the scene in the movie tinker tailor soldier spy{2011 version] where one of the characters kills an owl. That movie is supposed to be full of odd messages and symbols. It's the best movie I've seen in at least four years so won't ruin it for myself by looking for crazy conspiracytard messages in it though. The cast is so good it's just a pleasure to watch them do their thing.

I thought blue and gold were odd colors for an owl. Could Crowley's Book of the Law have any connection?

Maybe I just wasn't a childhood Van Gogh. But, don't those paintings look a little too good to be 6 and 7 year old finger paints? I remember mine being a friggen mess.

Sorry for the rapid fire posting, but I've taken a few art classes. How would a 7 year old know to contrast blue and orange, than green and red on the fish? The watermelon the lines are too perfect. And on the owl the colors are perfectly in the lines. They just don't look right. They look like an artist with training in color theory did them. Not a 6 or 7 year old. Unless their teaching color theory at that age.
